Welcome to FC Jim Thorpe

The Jim Thorpe Youth Soccer Association is proud to introduce FC Jim Thorpe — our competitive travel soccer program for players who are ready to take their game beyond recreational play.

 

FC Jim Thorpe was built from the ground up by the same community that powers JTYSA recreational soccer. We believe Jim Thorpe has talented players who deserve a local, affordable pathway to competitive soccer — and this program is that pathway.

 

We operate with a club-first philosophy focused on player development, accountability, and proper soccer culture. This is not an elite academy or a pay-to-play showcase program. Lower cost does not mean lower standards.

 

FC Jim Thorpe is registered through Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer (EPYSA) and US Youth Soccer, competing in the Lehigh Valley Youth Soccer League (LVYSL).

Is FC Jim Thorpe Right for My Player?

FC Jim Thorpe is a great fit if your player:

• Has outgrown recreational soccer and wants a greater challenge

• Is motivated to improve and willing to put in the work

• Can commit to 2–3 training sessions per week plus weekend games

• Understands that playing time is earned, not guaranteed

• Wants a serious developmental environment without the cost of larger academy programs

 

​Fees & Registration💰

Travel soccer involves additional costs beyond our recreational program, including league fees, tournament entry, and player passes. The seasonal fee is $190 per player, which covers league registration, referee fees, basic club operating costs, and training programs. Uniforms are not included in the seasonal fee. Uniforms are reused each season — new players and returning players needing replacements will purchase them separately. We believe cost should not be the barrier between a motivated player and a proper soccer environment.

Tryouts 📣

Players join FC Jim Thorpe through an open tryout process. All players are evaluated fairly regardless of prior club experience. Our goal is to find the right fit for the player's development and commitment level.
