Volunteer Clearances
All volunteers must pass several PA state clearances. If the volunteer has lived in PA for less than 10 years, they will also need a federal background check.
All background checks are valid for 5 years.
You will be given proof that you've passed the background check; this will need to be uploaded to your volunteer profile in GotSport with JTYSA and sent via email to JTYSA.
Applying for these clearances as a volunteer should waive the fee associated with each check, with the exception of FBI fingerprinting.

Volunteers who have lived in PA during the entirety of the previous 10-year period
Volunteers who have lived in PA for less than 10 years
