All volunteers must pass several PA state clearances.  If the volunteer has lived in PA for less than 10 years, they will also need a Federal background check.

All background checks are valid for 5 years.

You will be given proof that you've passed the background check, this will need to be uploaded to your volunteer profile in GotSport with JTYS, and sent via email to JTYS.

Applying for these clearances as a volunteer should waive the fee associated with each check.
